Small Batch will be a day rate commercial kitchen located in midtown Baltimore! Small Batch will be available 24 hours 7 days a week for entrepreneurs looking for a food-safe kitchen to start a business, urban farmers and community gardeners with extra produce to put up for the season or even community groups looking to turn Uncle Joe´s BBQ into a fund-raiser. Small Batch will offer an entrepreneurial training program to help folks turn a hobby into a specialty foods business.
Small Batch's Community Kitchen is located on the ground floor at 2800 Sisson Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21211, the same building as the Mill Valley General Store. Food-safe classes are required to use the kitchen and will be offered on site. We anticipate opening in September 2010. Please Donate to help support the upfront costs associated with undertaking such a great project.
